Currently, Chubb is seeking a Casualty Excess Umbrella Underwriter for the Warren, NJ office.

Ideal candidate will have 3+ years field underwriting experience and a highly developed expertise in casualty lines, strong excess umbrella experience required. Candidate should have strong business acumen, marketing and negotiation skills, with a proven track record of developing strong producer and customer relationships. Excellent communication and documentation skills necessary.

This position will manage a $6m book of umbrella and excess business. In the position you will establish/maintain effective relationships and maintain high standards of customer focused service. This position includes responsibility for implementing local business goals and plans within the context of Chubb's corporate strategies to ensure the profitability and servicing of a diversified book of business. This underwriter will be responsible for renewal excess/umbrella business. Maintain acceptable loss ratio by tracking and following up on large claims and related activities.
