The first area is managing the process of change requests. This means they will be responsible for any new report going into general consumption. It will include things like ensuring obtaining IT approval to post it, that Training has the necessary documentation and has worked the report into a training program, communication pieces are ready to go and we have a sponsor sign off to let it go, etc. The second part of this position is all around managing the process of production support. This part of the position includes making sure that any issue with an existing report is handled by the appropriate person, that we are communicating effectively with anyone having an issue, keeping stats on the number of issues and resolution rate, etc. This person will not need to fix any errors on any report, they will manage the process of getting them fixed. The last part of the job is to manage the QA for reports before they go into production. For this part of the position, this person will manage a staff of QA testers. They will test reports before they go to the field for beta testing, and track the errors and resolutions, etc. This is very similar to the production support side, only this happens pre general release.Position Attributes:This position involves managing the QA and production support processes as part of the reporting coe. Prefer one year of supervisory experience as well as two years in an IT QA or Production support role. Will help establish QA process for developers and projects, as well as production support processes and manage the day to day aspects..Additional Information:Travel Percentage: 10%
