Channel Account Managers-for place based digital media
Scope
Dynamic and creative candidates sought to drive sales in North America through value-added resellers (VAR’s), OEMs, distributors, IT integrators, A/V integrators, and vertical service providers. Channel sales managers must be highly service-oriented, and have technical sales experience, in addition to marketing and media expertise (ideally below-the-line).
Responsibilities
Grow YCD’s reseller channel by supporting current resellers and identifying new channel partnersDevelop sales, marketing and training programs along with appropriate materials and collateral to support channel resellersDevelop relationships with channel management and participate in direct sales to end customers in collaboration with channel partnersPitch a complex suite of solutions to partners and their customers’ senior management, prepare tailored sales presentations, and manage product demonstrations
Experience
Candidates should have a minimum of 7 years direct experience creating, implementing and managing a reseller channel for an software and hardware solution-based technology or service provider. Must have proven ability designing and executing programs to create successful reseller strategies, including defining and packaging technical solutions, training, marketing, and financial programs. Plus:Successful track record in creating and managing sales pipelines and working with channel management to set and achieve goalsStructured and organized working style, with a disciplined approach to defining and executing sales processesExperience working with VAR’s, system integrators, and distributors Experience providing exemplary customer service and support to resellers
