First Coast Service Options, Inc. (FCSO), is a wholly owned subsidiary of the largest health insurance company in the state of Florida. Our exciting new business venture will provide audit, oversight, anti-fraud, and waste and abuse monitoring of Medicare Parts A, B, and C, the Medicare Prescription Drug Benefit (Part D), Durable Medical Equipment, Home Health and other aspects of the Medicare and Medicaid program for several western states. JOB DUTIES:

Job duties include but are not limited to:

*Lead the development of statistical procedures to assess Medicare claims and provider data
*Provide results of analysis to guide medical review, fraud investigations and audit efforts
*Utilize computer programming tools such as statistical software to identify utilization patterns and trends
*Analyze data using hypothesis development, statistical modeling, sampling, collection, compilation and verification 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

*Master's degree in statistics or related discipline
*Minimum 3 years experience using statistics to support business information needs
*Experience in statistical detection of potential fraud, predictive modeling, development of mathematical models, neural networks, and data mining or other analytical methods
*Demonstrated experience with health care information (i.e., health claims data, ICD-9-CM codes, physician specialty codes, etc.)
