Claims Adjuster Fastpath-Immediate Resolution

Fireman’s Fund is undergoing some exciting changes including the expansion of our claims center in Earth City, MO. We currently have a position immediately available for a qualified candidate in the St. Louis area!

The entry level claims position provides the opportunity to learn how to effectively manage the claims process. Capture New Loss information from insureds, agents or 3rd party.Use various systems – ATLAS, Coverage Verification, ACS, etc. Determine basic coverages.Triage loss to determine if Value Added Services are warrantedProvide those services to insured as appropriateMake referrals to direct repair network. Manage customer fulfillment for rental, glass replacement and towing needs. Respond to inquires from customers, agents and others.



Requirements:Strong customer service skills are critical.Strong interpersonal and communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment required. Candidates must be able to prioritize and have strong organization and desk/diary management skills. Must be willing to utilize new system technologies and workflows and work in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of claims handling procedures, philosophy, legal concepts and terminology, and knowledge of concepts for reserving, negotiation and settlements is preferred but not required. Ability to work 10:45 AM - 7:00 PM / M-F.Must type a minimum of 30 words per minute: required
