(AIG), an international insurance and financial services organization, has a Claims Adjuster position available in our St. Petersburg FL office. Duties and Responsibilities of Position:•Investigate, evaluate, coordinate and settle property and bodily injury claims presented by policy holders and third parties accurately, efficiently and timely in accordance with established departmental policies, practices, and procedures while complying with all regulatory and internal compliance standards.•Under direct supervision handles routine personal lines claims generally involving routine coverage, automobile property damage and limited bodily injury.•Learn basic claims adjusting process and procedures.To qualify and be a success in this role, you must have:•2 years of prior personal lines claims adjusting experience or similar equivalent with P&C automobile property damage and bodily injury claims.•Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.•Knowledge of claims adjusting concepts, practices and techniques and the legal and regulatory environment governing claims adjudication.•Oral and written communication skills.•Customer service skills.•MVR- Motor Vehicles Report will be requested for qualified applicant and must be Cleared prior to extending offer.•A FL 620 All Lines LicenseAIG is an Equal Opportunity EmployerAbout AIG: American International Group, Inc.
