Claims Refund Adjust Analyst I, II, or III DOE Seattle, WA 4 Positions Available Bring your claims expertise to the following role: Claims Refund Adjust Analyst I: Respond to a variety of requests for refunds and adjustments. Verify information and pursue payments from members and providers through negotiating payment plans, capturing and recording accurate recovery savings in a timely manner. Claims Refund Adjust Analyst II, above, plus: Work with the more complex and/or specialized claims. Train, coach and mentor less experienced staff. Claims Refund Adjust Analyst III, above, plus: Work with the more complex and/or specialized claims with minimal supervision. Train, coach and mentor less experienced staff.Combine your office experience with the following skills: Claims Refund Adjust Analyst I: High School diploma or GED. 1 year of general office experience. 2 years Regence claims processing experience. Knowledge of medical terminology and ICD-9/CPT coding. 30 wpm keyboarding skills or 8,500 keystrokes per hours with 95% accuracy 10-key ability and proficiency with calculator. PC experience and knowledge of Word and Excel or similar Windows software Perform basic math calculations. Ability to provide excellent customer service. Communicate effectively orally and in writing. Organize work and set priorities to meet deadlines. Analyze data and make decisions based on researching the facts. Ability to listen and communicate appropriately with provider community, members, member representatives, and staff in a manner that promote positive, professional interaction.Claims Refund Adjust Analyst II, above, plus: 1 year experience as a Claims Refund Adjustment Analyst I with performance at the solid level for 3 consecutive months, or equivalent work experience. Work independently with minimal direction and supervision. Ability to listen and communicate appropriately with provider community, members, member representatives, and staff in a manner that promotes positive, professional interaction. May be required to learn additional system(s).
