Claims Representative

Description:This is the first level in the job family and is generally used as a developmental level in which newly hired Claims Representatives are able to develop their technical claims handling skills.In this entry level position you will provide basic customer service in obtaining essential information in order to process routine accident cases involving claims for auto and general liability (AL) cases. Indivisulas will exercise initiative and independent judgment and solve problems of limited scope and complexity.Qualifications:Only a high school diploma is required for this position. We are looking for individuals with strong customer service experience or applicable insurance knowledge. Having claims experience is a plus, but not required. You will be required to demonstrate a proficient understanding and use of basic policy / contract coverages and be able to recognize questionable coverage/contract situations which necessitate supervisory involvement.
