Learn more about our innovative solutions, as well as our network of specialized technologies and customized career paths.  Claims Senior Financial Analyst Primary Responsibilities Include: •?Refine monthly/quarterly reporting and monitor claims metrics to assess financial performance. •?Perform ongoing analysis of expense budget variances and performance trends in claims department •?Designing and managing databases, analytical tools and reports •Provide analytical support to reforecasting and annual budgeting/planning processes •Assist in development of presentations to business unit and product executives, and participate in special projects involving financial analysis and economic evaluations. •?Providing Ad-hoc Reporting and Analysis A Successful Candidate Will Have: •?Bachelor's degree; advanced degree a plus •?Prior insurance experience a plus •?Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel •?Training and experience with Database Management tools (including Microsoft Access and SQL) •?Ability to perform Quality Assessment of large quantities of data Primary Responsibilities Include:·  Designing and deploying approved Reporting Requests from the Claims Management Team and Business Lines·  Designing and managing databases, analytical tools and reports·  Researching data issues·  Analyzing and verifying reported data·  Preparing reports and results of Data Analysis and Collection (including graphs and charts to visually indicate performance)·  Extracting data from various sources·  Maintaining data integrity of reported data·  Acquiring and transforming data received from other parties·  Providing analysis and documentation to support all Reporting Requests·  Defining and writing Business Requirements for report development·  Assisting in the identification of Reporting System deficiencies·  Providing Ad-hoc Reporting and Analysis·  Performing Special Projects and duties (as assigned) A Successful Candidate Will Have:·  Bachelor's degree in Information Technology of Business Administration·  3+ years experience with Database Management concepts, languages, tools and technologies·  Training and experience with Database Management tools (including Microsoft Access and SQL)·  Familiarity with Relational Databases·  Experience with Query/Reporting tools·  Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel·  Ability to process and transform data from a variety of sources in a variety of formats·  Ability to perform Quality Assessment of large quantities of data·  Ability to execute Reporting Projects with minimal direction·  Self-motivation·  Demonstrated problem-solving abilities Countrywide is committed to leveraging the talent of a diverse workforce to create great opportunities for our business and our people.
