Willis of Maryland is currently searching for a Client Manager for their large accounts team. This is an outstanding opportunity for an insurance professional looking to work with a highly successful, dynamic & growing team, where you can focus on a complex and diversified book of large deductible, alternative risk financing programs & international exposures.
Primary duties and responsibilities include, but not limited to:
· Assisting Producers and Client Advocates / Account Executives in the servicing of clients and management of day-to-day service tasks
· Working closely with Marketing to secure information from the client and assist in the renewal and new business programs
· Answering client policy and coverage questions, consulting with clients on policy changes, and implementing and delivering any resultant changes as required
· Identifying account rounding and cross-sell opportunities
· Assisting with resolving client, carrier and/or vendor accounting issues, including collections, discrepancies, fee arrangements, billing contracts, coordination of certificate request issues, policy checking and vendor commission tracking
· Maintaining certificate and auto identification information for document issuance
· Ensuring compliance with Willis and Regulatory procedures
· Managing policy checking and delivery
· Utilizing carrier rating programs to generate quick quotes for coverage, if necessary
· Some travel may be required
The ideal candidate will have the following skill sets and attributes:
· Minimum 3+ years insurance industry experience in a Service or Marketing role that is client-facing
· History of excellent account servicing with the ability to provide consultative and expert advise to management and Clients
· Bachelors Degree in Business, Finance, Marketing or other relevant discipline
· A valid, relevant State Property and Casualty license
· First-class interpersonal including relationship building, skills
· Strong communication (verbal and written), numerical, presentation and organizational skills are essential with keen attention to detail
· Self-motivated with the ability to work effectively as part of a team or on individually-assigned tasks in dynamic environment where superior time-management and prioritization skills are essential
