Client Server Support Analyst

COUNTRY Financial has an immediate opening for a Client Server Support Analyst in our ITS Division in Bloomington, IL.



The responsibilities of this position include: Responsible for providing IT support for COUNTRY Trust Bank (CTB) business and technical environment; This includes hardware and software support for CTB workstations, servers, printers and some applications; General networking and security support will also be needed at times; Support extends to daily monitoring of systems and back-up and disaster recovery activities; 24x7 on call responsibilities; Other duties could include research, analysis and purchase recommendations for changes or upgrades to the environment and acting as a representative or lead on business and/or internal projects; Mentoring, technical interviewing and providing feedback for the department budget re also responsibilities that occur occasionally.  

The qualifications and skills needed to perform this job include:
Required Skills: In-depth knowledge of Windows operating systems; Experience with hardware and software testing and installations; Ability to independently troubleshoot hardware and software problems; Strong familiarity with standard workstation and server software (backup, Antivirus, remote control, software deployment, Office, Exchange); Familiarity with hardware support tools, rack management best practices and computer room environmentals; Strong customer service focus; Experience helping business customers solve technical problems; Strong organizational and communication skill set; Understanding of general networking (LAN/WAN) and technical security concepts and best practices; Understanding of project methodologies and experience working on project teams; Effective working in team settings. Preferred Skills: Familiarity with security regulations that are associated with banks; Experience leading small projects; Skills acquired from college level coursework; Technical networking or Microsoft certifications.
