Here is a chance for an excellent coding specialist to develop and implement efficient and effective test plans for CMS related editing for Ingenix products. If you have a solid medical coding background, consider applying today! Key responsibilities include: Researching, sourcing and edit development of industry standards Coding operative notes and queries for policies and development of edits Defining requirements regarding the use of Medicare Local Coverage Determination (LCD) and National Coverage Determination (NCD) data Applying current industry guidelines with which to submit operative reports and written responses Identifying inappropriate or inaccurate coding combinations Providing comparative analysis of industry data Requirements: Healthcare claims coding experience A solid claims processing background Medicare exposure Solid writing skills Proficiency in MS Office applicationsPreferred assets: Certified Professional Coder status (or other coding certification) Business analysis experience A project management background Exp with any Claims Processing Systems  MS Access skills An associate's degree (or equivalent experience) UnitedHealth Group offers a full range of comprehensive benefits to full-time and part-time employees, including medical, dental and vision, as well as a matching 401k and an employee stock purchase plan.
