COGNOS ARCHITECT

Purpose of Job: Responsible for the quality of the end product; final review sign-offs for production move-ups; gathers and communicates business requirements; works with PLDW Architects to ensure proper architecture is part of designs and plans; manages development efforts for AIGM and PL Claims Projects and Enhancements.

Job Functions/Responsibilities (List in order of importance):

Work with members of all Personal Lines Division Business Unit Departments to successfully gather business requirements and provide ROMs for the completion of assignments.

Formulate designs, make technical decisions, implement and maintain sophisticated applications, and design and develop new Data Warehouse initiatives.

Work with members of all Personal Lines Division IT (PLDIT) Departments to review design documents and test plans to ensure high quality throughout the development teams.

Review all PLDIT documentation and enforce Data Warehouse Data standards and architectures.

Manage project and project staff so that they're completed on time and on budget.
