Commercial Insurance CSR

Growing, multi-location, independent insurance agency is seeking a customer service representative to work in our Montgomery office.   



Job Duties/Activities:

  Quote, issue and sell insurance policies in personal & commercial lines Process all incoming mail Check incoming policies (new and renewal) for accuracy Issue invoices for premiums due on policies, endorsements and audits Set up and maintain files for both new and renewal policies Issue and process certificates of insurance Order current loss runs from companies Send faxes and assist in distribution of them Enter appropriate activity in Agency Advantage for all above duties Maintain all suspense items and follow up on a timely basis Make daily bank deposits Other various duties as assigned

 

Requirements:

  Must be property & casualty licensed in Ohio 1 year previous insurance experience, prefer independent agency experience Experience with commercial insurance preferred Experience with apartment and/or condos preferred Must be able to manage several assignments at one time Must be proficient with Word, Outlook, and Excel

 

Salary dependent upon experience.
