Commission Reconciliation Analyst

Major Duties and Functions Include: Reviews individual property & casualty insurance policy applications for quality, accuracy, and completeness. Ensures statutory compliance by maintaining appropriate P&C licenses and signing off policies accordingly. Calculates commission pay-outs using an ACCESS Database. Extensive use of EXCEL. Analyzes GTS Auto, Home, PELP, and Boat policies for rating data accuracy and logic, completeness, and correct documentation; researches discrepancies. Completes license sign-off on all reviewed policies. Communicates with sales producers, management, and internal departments (such as Underwriting) in order to code and complete applications with the goal of issuance without error within determined timeframe. Maintains spreadsheet documenting quality issues; identifies trends; submits reports to management. Analyzes, researches and questions issues out of policy or process. What You Need to Succeed: 1-3 years experience in a corporate environment using strong math or analytical skills is required. Must have intermediate to advanced skill set using EXCEL. Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills are required. Experience meeting hard deadlines is required. Must be organized and able to multi-task across multiple lines of business. Must have the ability to analyze, research and question issues that are out of process or policy. Must be able to demonstrate a sense of urgency while maintaining complete accuracy. Bi-lingual Spanish skills would be a plus. Experience using ACCESS is highly desired. Experience calculating commission pay-outs or within the insurance industry would be a very strong plus.
