Consultant, Vendor Contracts - 08-071

The Consultant will guide the overall contracting process for the Inter-Plan Program division, to ensure compliance with the Association’s Blue Way to Buy standards, ensure the RFP process, monitor financial requirements and negotiates contract terms.  Will partner with management staff to ensure the business direction for National Programs for contractual agreements. 

 

Required basic qualifications:

* Bachelor’s degree with concentration in accounting, finance or business discipline.

* Minimum 3 years demonstrated work experience in contracting functions and performing financial analyses.

* Experience with using electronic workflow and financial/accounting systems

 

Preferred basic qualifications:

* Experience preparing spreadsheets and in using EXCEL and WORD software to support contracting-related and financial-related outputs.

* Demonstrated ability to understand and analyze complex business requirements, model and create solutions.

* Demonstrated ability to manage competing needs of multiple stakeholders including the ability to execute priorities with time and quality measures.

* Prior experience working with government procurement regulations and compliance.

* Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to develop and maintain critical relationships with all levels, vendors and customers.
