CONTROLLER reporting directly to CFO and Board of Directors

Located in Clearwater

 



Qualifications:
-Minimum of 5 years property/casualty or heavy insurance experience in senior financial management,
-Experience in managing financial controls and policies,
-Experience in audit, SOX, public filings, statements
-Experience in financial management reporting, budgeting, and monthly close,
-Outstanding communicator, ability to present effectively,
-Bachelor degree in Accounting, Business, or Finance and
a Licensed CPA or MBA.

Responsibilities to include:
-Help manage all aspects of the company’s financial reporting, accounting, and associated information systems,
-Responsible for monitoring and managing financial controls, policies, and procedures,
-Manage business analysts/accountants
-Coordinate the annual budgeting process with outside CPA firm
-Manage the monthly close and the generation of financial reports
-Analyze, identify, and recommend operational improvements in the business
-Provide marketing/revenue analysis and recommend strategies for improving profitability,
