Job Description:The Corporate Retirement Support Representative (CRSR) provides primarily inbound telephone sales support to eligible plan participants (customers) from Fortune 1000 companies. The CRSR has a high degree of Corporate Markets product knowledge and is responsible for providing consultative support to customers with their retirement related needs. This role will be measured on a quarterly basis based on customer satisfaction and on an annual basis based on businesss customer conversion rate. The CRSR will work with a group of peers as part of the Corporate Retirement Support Group and will work very closely with the service support representatives at the Syracuse Operations Center.Key ResponsibilitiesPrinciple Responsibilities Include: Answer high volume of inbound calls to support customer needs.Achieve high first call resolution through active listening, probing and analyzing needs.Evaluate caller requests and conduct warm transfers to appropriate sales or service members if necessary. Recognize need to recommend consultative one on one meeting with Customer Retirement Specialist.Initiate communications to customers whose applications are incomplete or not in good order and assist customer through successful completion of application.Provide assistance to (targeted) customers with rollover process from existing Recordkeeper.Identify additional opportunities that close customer solution and product gaps. Brings these to the attention of Strategy, Sales and Operations functions.Has a solid understanding of Corporate Markets products and continuously looks to enhance this knowledge.Lead caller through appropriate sales tools such as hypothetical illustrations, literature, AXA Equitable Crossings website, etc.Efficiently utilize a wide variety of resources such as internet, job aids, training manuals, mentor, management and team members to deliver accurate product and market information.Maintain professionalism, apply constructive feedback and participate in mandatory training.Demonstrate initiative by enhancing customer service and sales skills and pursuit of professional development.Understand, meet, and aim to exceed departmental, team, and corporate objectives.
Job Requirements: Qualifications:A minimum of two (2) years of experience in the insurance, finance, or brokerage industry is preferred with a focus in customer service, sales or marketing.Ability to interact effectively with plan participants, peers and Corporate Markets management team. Primary focus of interactions is customer satisfaction. Demonstrates superior verbal and written consultative communication skills. Superior analytical ability.Ability to identify and implement process improvements. Always looks for ways to improve and promote quality.Successfully work in a team oriented atmosphere.Maintains a high degree of proficiency in Microsoft Office software and related business software programs. Education: Bachelors degree recommended; concentration in economics, business, or finance is preferred but not required. For candidates without a degree, equivalent experience in the financial or investment management industry is required.FINRA Series 6, 63 and Insurance Licenses (53 jurisdictions) are required for the role. Candidates are expected to successfully pass any remaining exams within 60 days of hire.Complete and pass, with a high degree of proficiency, the AXA Corporate Markets Training Program.Additional exams may be required according to business needs.Other related industry designations, certificates, licenses or course work helpful.
