Customer Account Analyst

Max Specialty Insurance (Max Specialty), a member of the Max Capital Group, is seeking a highly motivated and professional individual to join its Finance department in Richmond, VA. Max Specialty is headquartered in Richmond, VA with four other regional offices in:

 Atlanta, GA Dallas, TXHorsham, PANew York, NY

The Customer Account Analyst is responsible for performing various billing functions and utilizing computer knowledge by performing the following duties.

 

Primary Responsibilites:Perform all data entries and computer functions related to billing and payment procedures.Generate and mail customer invoices daily.Process and enter account payment information and adjustments into computer daily.Ensure all bills pursuant to billing cycle are mailed in accordance with company procedures.Generate and review accounts payable/receivable reports for accuracy as needed.Monitor billings for accuracy and communicate with personnel to resolve discrepancies or verify unusual items.Execute appropriate collection activity in accordance with company guidelines.Negotiate with delinquent customer accounts to minimize collection activity potential.Receive and resolve customer account problems and discrepancies.Perform other related duties as assigned

 

Qualified Candidates will possess the following:Oral and Written Communication SkillsCustomer Relations AptitudeData Entry SkillsHigh Level of ProfessionalismMath AptitudeNegotiations SkillsOrganization and Time Management Computer Literacy

 Education/ExperienceHigh School Diploma or equivalent prior work experience preferredExperience in insurance-related field preferred
