The Property & Casualty (P&C) Operations include business insurance, specialty commercial and personal lines. WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
Due to company growth, we are looking for customer service professionals with excellent spelling, keyboarding and communication skills. The Hartford’s Midwest Commercial Claims Service Center has an excellent opportunity in Aurora, IL for Customer Care Specialists to support our claim organization. WHAT ARE THE RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE POSITION?
As a Customer Care Specialist you are responsible for taking commercial first notice of loss information from claimants and entering it accurately into the computer. The day to day activities are telephone and fax based and includes assisting customers with requests for information on existing claims. The next training class will start June 23, 2008. Paid training is provided for 13 weeks from 10:30 am – 7:00 pm. After training, the available shifts are: 11:30 am – 8:00 pm, 1:30 pm – 10:00 pm, 2:30 pm – 11:00 pm, or 3:30 pm - 12:00 am.* The workweek for this position is Monday - Friday.
WHAT IS THE COMPENSATION OPPORTUNITY?
At The Hartford, our compensation philosophy is simple: we pay competitive base salaries and we reward performance. The pay opportunity for this position is $26,000, *plus shift differential for working until 8:00 pm or later. In addition, you will be eligible to participate in our comprehensive benefits program including medical, dental, and life insurance, 401(k) plan, an employee stock purchase plan, short and long-term disability, vacation buy and sell programs, discounted auto and home insurance, discounts on Ford vehicles and more.
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
Job Qualifications are:
Excellent typing (35+ WPM) and spelling skills
Excellent customer service skills
Excellent verbal/written communication skills
Medical Terminology experience helpful, but not required
Experience working in a windows based computer environment
