Customer Service Agent - Bilingual Preferred

Two of our key competitive advantages include our ability to finance new businees direct through our sister corporation - Mill City Financial, and our friendly, competent, bi-lingual CSR'S and Insurance Agents.

 

Our corporate office (main branch) is located in Lowell, and additional locations in Eastern Massachusetts will be opening in 2009. We are now hiring and training personnel in preparation for conducting business at these new locations.

 

Our profitable companies are looking to grow by adding smart, bi-lingual (English & Spanish or Khmer), energetic, customer oriented people to our team. This is a great opportunity for someone who is interested in learning about insurance, working with customers and being part of a close knit team in a growing business.

 

We expect individuals to demonstate superior work ethic, problem solving abilities, and have a positive, enthusiastic approach to working with customers. As you become familiar with our systems and learn the insurance industry, you will quickly begin to interact with underwriters and deal with more complex issues. Potential career path includes advancing to a licensed insurance agent within one year.

 

Prior experience in the insurance or finance industry is preferred, but not required. Although we do require the minimum of a two year business degree or equivalent in customer service experience.

Your responsibilities will include:

  Working with customers by answering questions, resolving issues, and trouble shooting problems Utilizing soft sales techniques to aide customers in finding the right solutions Researching customer inquiries Managing relationships with insurance companies and agency personnel Escalating calls as necesarry Sharing ideas to improve business practices

 

Minimum technical skills:

  Equally proficient in English and Spanish or Khmer - Fully Bi-Lingual In depth experience with internet applications (web & e-mail)

 

Other special skills:

  Superior communication skills Ability to retain knowledge of products and business practices Be motivated to meet customer needs Be analytical, tactful, creative and innovative in solving problems
