JOB DESCRIPTION:

Candidate will maintain the integrity of each database by ensuring the accuracy of the Word & Brown Companies databases and the associated AP systems.  Monitor license renewals and the completeness of Broker Licensing forms that directly affect the accuracy and timeliness of broker commissions. 

Essential Functions:Will answer incoming broker calls regarding licensing and commission issues, research, and follow up with brokers.  Create and maintain accurate and up to date information of broker files and vendor screens in the data bases.  Provide assistance and excellent customer service to a large number of internal customers with change requests to the database.  Maintain timely posting of all banking information for clients and participants.  Review the department of insurance web site for renewed broker licenses.  Ensure timely notification to broker of expired licenses and missing information required to pay commissions.Review and maintain all Ameritas Licensing.  Timely process of all State and IRS Tax Levies for our brokers. 542 processing to the state of California. Process returned mail. Initiate reminder letters for unclaimed property.

 

Candidate must have excellent customer service skills.  Must be an innovative, self-starter who is detailed oriented with excellent analytical skills.  Some high level of computerize systems experience.  Must have strong PC skills including Excel and Word.  High school diploma or equivalent required.
