ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY

In this call center position, you’ll typically talk with external people over the phone and work with other internal team members from a variety of departments in order to provide quality customer service.

RESPONSIBILITIESProvide customer service to support our Claim Handlings and Policy Owner Services administration of Long Term Care (LTC) insurance programs, including telephone coverage of customer services lines, data entry of all calls and correspondence on the LTC insurance system, document follow-up calls, voicemails and other pending service requests. Maintain a thorough knowledge of LTCG functions and products to provide responsive telephone support and answer customer questions concerning a variety of products and services offered by the organization. Effectively handle telephone calls according to established procedures with minimal to no assistance. Other duties and projects as assigned such as updating databases and recording information in the proper locations.



QUALIFICATIONSH.S. diploma/GED required; Associate’s Degree or higher preferred Minimum 1 year experience required in Customer Service in a fast-paced Call Center environment; 2 years experience preferred Excellent verbal communication skillsExposure to the insurance environment preferred Proficient with Intermediate Microsoft Window (Word, Excel, Outlook); database experience preferred but not required Excellent organization and attention to detail with ability to meet deadlines Ability to multitask and meet established performance standards
