Description



Brown & Brown Insurance, one of the country's largest insurance agencies is looking for an experienced Commercial Insurance Customer Service Representative to join our team. This position would be responsible for servicing a book of business consisting of middle to large market commercial accounts along with the Account Executive and Producer. Customer Service would include:

·                  Work with Account Executive(s) and Commercial Lines producer(s).

·                  Handle inside service work associated with our clients’ insurance programs including:

·                  Endorsement activity

·                  Routine coverage questions

·                  Problem solving

·                  Rating

·                  Checking & booking policies

·                  Certificates, Evidences, Auto ID Cards

Competencies for the Commercial Customer Service Representative:

·                  Knowledge of basic insurance products and pricing tools

·                  Adept at word processing and internet-based rating programs

·                  Knowledge of "Applied Systems" beneficial

·                  Oral Communication

·                  Dependability

·                  Technical Skills

·                  Written Communication

·                  Organizational Skills

Requirements



Requirements for the Commercial CSR position:

·                  Strong verbal and written communication skills

·                  Ability to handle multiple tasks and / or projects simultaneously

·                  Organizational and time management discipline.

·                  220 License required

·                  2-3 years experience in Multi-line Property and Casualty Insurance

·                  "Applied Agency Management Systems" software & insurance company rating programs knowledge preferred

·                  Strong word processing & computer skills

·                  High School Diploma or general education (GED) required
