DATA INTEGRATION LEAD

All applicants must have a minimum of 3 years IT Industry experience in order to apply.  No 3rd party resumes accepted. Title: Data Integration Lead Location: New York, NYBachelors  7+ Years Open position for an individual who will be responsible for leading the data integration design and development team. Responsible for the overall data integration design of the project/program. Responsible for ensuring that the data integration designs align with the established information standards. Assist in the development of the data integration WBS in the planning phase of the project. Responsible for collecting, leveraging and designing reusable components during the lifecycle of the project. Evaluates and Validates data integration and ETL tools and provides recommendations. Supports the overall development of the data integration architecture and overall data integration design of the project. Responsible for the overall data integration design for a project. Reviews and approves the logical data Integration model(s) that are developed. Reviews and Approves for developing physical data integration models. This entails transforming the logical data integration models into the physical data integration models based on the program data integration architecture, technical environment, ETL software capabilities, and project requirements. Approves code compliance to the physical design (requirements traceability). Responsible for determining data integration server capacity impact due to project requirements. Approves and reviews many of the data architecture project deliverables in order to ensure compliance with Architectural Standards. Interfaces with technical team leads and solution architects.Bachelors Degree with Field of study in: Engineering, Computer Science/Engineering with Math Skills or equivalent business experience 7+ years of experience in data warehousing, business intelligence and analytics project work 5-7 years of data integration project experiences performing ETL architecture, design and development activities. 3+ years of hands-on project experience with ETL tool such as Websphere IIS/Datastage, Ab Initio or Informatica. Certification in ETL tools a plus. Experience in designing solutions to integrate data from various application systems and platforms into a common, integrated financial management and reporting environment. The individual must have strong experience with SQL design and development. The individual must have a strong understanding of the types of transformations that would facilitate building out business rules, derivations, validations and calculations into well defined components. The individual must also have experience in designing error and exception handling procedures to identify, record, report and fix errors. Our opportunities are numerous...
