Data Entry Operator (Multiple Positions)

We are currently seeking two experienced Data Entry Operators for our Spokane area office.  Responsibilities include researching, entering and updating member and provider or claims information in the computer system; processing paperwork and performing computer mail merge functions; and preparing and processing other

correspondence, spreadsheets and reports as necessary. Will also provide back-up receptionist and general clerical duties as needed, including filing.

 

The ideal candidate will have a High School diploma or general education degree (GED); minimum one year of data entry experience; ability to type at least 45 wpm and basic to intermediate skills in Microsoft Word and Excel.  Must also have ability to read and comprehend simple instructions; ability to write simple correspondence; ability to effectively present information in one-on-one situations to customers, clients and other employees; and ability to perform simple math functions.  Health claims and Taft-Hartley benefits administration experience are a plus.  This is an hourly position under union contract and the hours are 37.5/hours/week.
