And we're looking for passionate individuals who will forge a path with us.Dental Claims Analyst (Regence Life & Health) Portland, ORBring your claims expertise to the following role:Provide dental claims processingInvestigate and apply contract benefitsWork with basic to more complex claims and meets department standards for quantity, accuracy, timeliness and dependability Combine your degree and experience in dental claims with the following:Bachelor's degree in health or business related fieldMinimum of 3 years work experience or equivalent combination of education and work experienceKnowledge and ability to process dental claims functions, including coordination of benefits with other insurance companiesAbility to utilize claim investigative techniques to identify and evaluate claim information in a fair and objective mannerWorking knowledge of dental terminology and ADA procedure codes and nomenclatureAbility to analyze and apply dental concepts and contractual, legal and regulatory information to non auto-adjudicated claims of general to higher complexityUnderstanding and application of Federal, State and local laws and regulations affecting claim investigationUnderstanding of the Unfair Claim Settlement Practices Act, ERISA, HIPAA and Federal, State reporting requirementsDetail-oriented with ability to analyze and research contract informationCapability to make balanced decisions with the highest degree of integrity and fairnessAbility to express ideas and recommendations clearly and with a high level of professionalism in written and oral communicationsComputer proficiencyAbility to work with others in a highly collaborative team environmentCapability to multitask and balance goals and prioritiesExcellent customer service skills, both verbal and writtenStrong problem solving and basic math skills Adaptability to changeAbility to work independently without supervision Fluent Spanish language skills and knowledge of the Latino culture related to health care is desirable Hard work and dedication is rewarded at Regence: We offer a competitive salary and a generous benefits package.For consideration, please visit our Web site at www.regence.com/careers and Apply Online to Job #16370.We are an equal opportunity employer dedicated to workforce diversity and a drug and smoke-free workplace.
