This individual will serve as a consultative partner to business and corporate areas and will be involved in all stages of marketing communications and business line advertising. We are looking for a person with the energy, ideas, and experience to drive marketing performance that set industry standards for excellence.  Primary Duties and Responsibilities:-Manage marketing projects across all business lines and field organizations. -Ensure articulation of the organization's desired image and position to all customers, internal and external-Act as an internal consultant to bring attention and solutions to organizational issues and priorities-Perform all the necessary staff management functions to meet goals, to ensure performance standards are achieved and to utilize all available resources in a cost effective manner.-Develop and coordinate means to seek regular feedback from the organization's key clients regarding the quality of programs and services offered-Personally participates in, and encourage staff to participate in cross-functional and cross-business unit teams.-Drives and supports best-practices to ensure synergistic approach to marketing-Manage and coach marketing staff, including 5 direct reports-Manage marketing budget. Qualifications:-BS degree in communications or related field-Minimum of 6-8 years experience in marketing or related field.-3-4 years staff management experience.-Strong, quantifiably demonstrated leadership accomplishments in strategic business marketing planning. -Knowledgeable of the trends in the marketing industry.-Excellent verbal and written communication skills.-Demonstrated effectiveness and success in both marketing and advertising.-Working knowledge of the property/casualty insurance business (personal and commercial lines) preferred-Excellent time and project management skills. -Ability to manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously, often under pressure, and be flexible to changes in priorities.-Proficient in Microsoft Office systems such as Word, Excel, Outlook, and Power Point.-Possess attention to detail and strong organizational skills.-Strong problem solving, analytic and leadership skills. In addition to an exciting environment, we offer: * Competitive base salary with additional opportunities for variable pay through recognition programs and incentive awards * 401(k) with company match* Comprehensive health plans that include coverage for same sex/domestic partners* Strong work/family and employee assistance programs* Tuition reimbursement * Vacation Purchase Plan* Training/Development opportunities We are proud to provide comprehensive, high quality employee programs to meet employees' needs now and in the future, including a very competitive financial package.
