Director of Compensation, Business Insurance - Hartford, CT

 

Description

Maximize application of compensation tools to support business initiatives/compensation strategies. Develop expert knowledge Business Insurance. Studies and analyzes data, monitors trends and recommends enhancements and changes to assure the retention, motivation and recruitment of key personnel. As requested, provides guidance on the compensation aspects of a new hire offer package, including base, bonus, and equity replacement valuation and considerations. Provides management (executive, business unit/staff department management) with reports/data, analysis and executive summaries to assist in making performance and rewards decisions worldwide.

Experience

8-10 years of Compensation/HR experience preferred--experience with and knowledge of compensation compliance laws/requirements, market analysis and pay structure design methodologies, variable compensation and equity plans.  Demonstrated leadership ability
and ability to understand business objectives and to set and implement strategy to support those objectives. Proven ability to influence compensation philosophy through expert analysis and consulting skills. Problem solving, influencing, communications, leadership, and project management skills required.

 

Salary:  $100 – 120k based on level of experience
