As a Director of Margins for USAA, you will direct one or more teams or functions responsible for the reconciliation, reporting, processing, and validation of cash and securities transactions. Develop and implement the functions policies and procedures and operating and staffing plans. Anticipate and provide solutions to the more complex problems. Job Duties: Plans, directs, and administers IMCO processes. Directs and develops personnel in to maximize resource productivity. Assesses training requirements and evaluates individual training needs. Designs and implements operating procedures to improve and enhance customer service and enhanced internal efficiencies. Establish goals and objectives and monitors results. Serves as project sponsor or business manager in special projects or initiatives relevant to investment ops and IMCO. Integrate the resources and systems necessary for effective and efficient operations. Maintain current in-depth changes in technology, regulations, and industry events and knowledge that may impact operational functions and structure. You will respond to SEC and NASD regulatory inquiries and executive complaints. Qualified Candidates need to Possess: 7+ years of relevant experience BS/BA or equivalent experience. Strong knowledge of spreadsheets, data retrieval, and word processing software. Preferred Experience Includes: 10 years of securities processing experience in self-clearing or financial custodian operations. Complex margin expertise for all security types in accordance with Federal and SRO regulations and the firm's credit extension policies. Comprehensive advanced knowledge and leadership in operations and industry strategies. FIRNA licensing 4,7,24,27,53.
