ECOMMERCE BUSINESS ANALYST III

Primary responsibilities for the position include: 

 Document and prioritize functional and technical requirementsUse of a Business Processor Application (Business Rules Engine) to create underwriting rules.Partner with COBOL developer to evaluate the code generated by the Business Processor and make coding changes as needed.Leads the day-to-day activities of a team of 2-4 developers, 1-2 Business Analysts, and 3-5 Quality Assurance analysts.Plans for and facilitates regularly scheduled meetings with business customers to elicit requirements.Conduct user review sessions to assess usability and solicit feedback related to product improvements.

 

 

Qualifications:

 Six or more (6+) years of experience in Information Technology roles with increasing levels of responsibility required.  Three or more (3+) years of experience in functional or business analysis roles requiredKnowledge of property and casualty insurance industry required.Technical skills and expertise in data management tools, defect management tools and diagramming tools required.Solid experience working on a team using a mature Agile Development methodology required.BA degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or Business Administration or equivalent required.Moderate experience writing code (any language) with aptitude for reading/writing COBOL code.Certifications in Business Analyst related designations preferred
