Job Category: Customer Support/Client Care Emerging Leadership Program (ELP) Program Description Are you looking for a program that will utilize your degree and further develop your leadership ability? GEICO is looking for high potential graduates to join our selective Emerging Leaders Management Development Program. As an Emerging Leader in the operations management track, you will have opportunities to make real contributions to GEICO’s bottom line. You'll work one-on-one with your mentor, and interact with senior executives and all levels of associates. We'll teach you the ins and outs of our industry-leading company, while you gain hands-on leadership experience. Throughout your program, you will have the great fortune to experience various aspects of our operations, including sales, customer service, claims, underwriting and planning. A typical day will depend on the discipline in which you are currently working! During your sales rotation, we'll show you what it takes to sell a GEICO policy. After completing the classroom training and obtaining your insurance license, you will begin offering rate quotes and selling our exceptional line of products. In your customer service rotation, you'll learn how we keep millions of policyholders satisfied and what makes our service associates remarkable. Your rotation through claims will teach you how to help customers resolve their claims, investigate minor to major accidents, identify fraud and manage risk. Each rotation will include a chance for you to job shadow other associates, develop your employee coaching skills, and work on special projects. When you successfully finish your program, you’ll be ready for a future with enormous potential! Our goal is to place you in a position of significant responsibility within our business operations. Requirements Qualified applicants will have a degree in accounting, finance, operations, economics, marketing, management, business or other related degree. An overall undergraduate GPA of at least a 3.5 is required. Must possess solid written and verbal communication skills, and keen analytical and problem-solving skills. Candidates will have a history of demonstrated leadership, are well rounded in their experiences, and have achieved academic excellence. This program develops future leaders of our company - a desire to become a manager-of-people is necessary! Applicants must have permanent work authorization.
