Employee Benefits Sales Professionals

Our client, one of the leading global diversified financial companies, is aggressively expanding its sales force across the country.  We currently seek experienced Employee Group Benefits sales professionals to join their highly successful team in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

 

Successful candidates must have a minimum of 5 years of sales success focused in Employee Group Health and ancillary products.  S/he should be comfortable prospecting, cold calling, appointment setting, making presentations, closing sales, building relationships and retaining accounts.  Interested individuals should be good relationship builders who can take advantage of referrals from other company employees while building his/her own network of opportunities and pipeline.  This client is prepared to support a talented new hire by paying for all expenses associated with setting up a home based office and providing sales materials and training.  To top it off the compensation package includes a base salary plus incentive based on new and renewal business, a company car and participation in an excellent and all encompassing Employee Benefits package. 

 

To qualify for this position, candidates need to have 5+ years experience in Employee Benefits sales experience with an emphasis on Health expertise. Licensed in Life & Health required; variable products licenses are highly desirable. We are seeking energetic, passionate, entrepreneurial spirited individuals who can work independently who also has excellent communication, business  development, and relationship management skills. Must be willingly to travel as needed in order to cover assigned territory.
