Employee Relations Manager/HR Business Partner

We are currently recruiting for an Employee Relations Manager/HR Business Partner to join our Corporate Human Resources Department. This position is located in our Cincinnati, OH office.

As an Employee Relations Manager/HR Business Partner, you will be responsible for the following:

• Assisting business units throughout the enterprise with employee relations situations and reductions in force (severance agreements, communications and change management for employees retained within the work unit)
• Providing situational counseling to employees and managers regarding various issues
• Working with in-house attorneys as well as outside counsel on difficult employment matters, charges and litigation preparation
• Developing and facilitating training programs for employees, supervisors and managers across the enterprise in regard to EEO, employment laws and handling of employee relations issues within their business units

• Consulting with business unit managers and employees on HR services such as staffing and development, performance management, employee relations and policy interpretation.
• Supporting business and HR initiatives
• Partnering with the business units to improve effectiveness in areas such as structure, work processes, teamwork and culture

Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of five years of human resource experience, with a strong emphasis in employee relations. Experience in development and facilitation of training programs is strongly preferred. Must have strong conflict resolution skills as well as strong verbal and written communication skills.
