Enterprise Applications Support Engineer

If you would like to apply your skills and experience to create health-care solutions, consider the following position: Job Summary: Provide departmental top 2nd level support for in-house developed company-critical client/server applications and 3rd party company-critical client/server business applications. Independently perform systems/problem analysis in concert with other IT Infrastructure and Development departments, and affected business customers. Respond quickly and effectively to client inquiries and requests concerning systems capabilities, and follow troubleshooting processes, creating and documenting new processes where none may exist. Utilize problem management tracking tools to communicate and record technical issues associated with production applications. Act as technical lead, and point of escalation to the CSAS team. Provide top level expertise in enterprise-wide client/server application management. Requirements: 5 years of industry-related experience which includes moderately to highly complex technical responsibilities in a multi-user client/server environment. MCSE. Working technical knowledge, encompassing these technologies: - Relational Databases - SQL/Oracle - Client/Server-based Applications - Host Connectivity / Mainframe Emulation - Remote Access - Dialup, Citrix, Internet - Browser-based Applications - Client OS - NT, W2K, XP - Network OS - NT, W2K, Windows 2003 Server - Active Directory - TCP/IP - SMS Data Collection, Scripting, Remote Administration - Microsoft Office - Citrix-based Applications - Microsoft IIS - MSI Repackaging - Server Administration Premera Ranked Highest in Member Satisfaction in U.S. West In the J.D.
