Enterprise Solutions Architect

The Word & Brown Companies is actively seeking an Enterprise Solutions Architect.
Candidate will be working within the strategic guidelines established by the CIO and assumes primary responsibility for the architectural design of all strategic business applications.  Will encompass both internal and inter-application design issues and will closely collaborate with the Director of Database Architecture.  Key emphasis will be placed on designing applications meeting current and future business requirements in a manner which effectively applies Microsoft .Net technologies and modern design standards/patterns.  Perform as a hands-on strategic applications architect.  Define and oversight enterprise-wide technologies and guidelines.  Collaborate to refine application database designs and how applications use their databases.  Conduct a comprehensive audit of all existing business applications and document their current state using architectural diagrams.  Develop, maintain, and evangelize company wide development standards that ensure continuously improving alignment between out applications portfolio and our desired future state.




  Candidate must have 8 or more years experience as a Solution Architect or similar role.  5 or more years experience as a senior software engineer.  Knowledge and experience designing complex business solutions.  Must have a bachelor or master college degree in computer science or business degrees with computer specializations or equivalent experience.
