(an AIG member company) has an opening for an Environmental Consultant in our Atlanta office to conduct environmental risk assessments in support of pollution liability insurance coverage and to provide technical expertise to underwriters. Qualified candidates must possess a minimum of a B.S. in environmental science/engineering/geology or related discipline. Master's Degree and/or professional certification/registration is a plus. Candidate must have extensive experience in conducting environmental audits of various types of facilities (including, but not limited to industrial, manufacturing, residential, property portfolios, waste management facilities, etc.). Candidate must possess a working knowledge of Federal and State environmental regualtions. General liability loss control experience is also a plus. Excellent technical written and verbal communications is necessary. A proficiency in computer skills and the ability and desire to work effectively with all levels of customers and business partners is essential.
