Education:

High School Diploma and 5 years experience or a 4 yr degree in Environmenttal Engineering from accredited college or university



Experience:

MUST HAVE: 5+ years



Degrees, Licensure, and/or Certification:

Environmental Engineer

OSHA 511(1 Certifications)

DOT HAZ MAT/HAS COM

CPR



Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

·               Accompany compliance officials on inspections and visits

·               Ensure Safety Compliance through OSHA standards          Provide safe working conditions          Create and implement safety training curriculum on            Annual basis

·               Proctor LYC Safety Committee (schedule and lead meetings)

·               Enforce OSHA AND LYC safety policies

·               Accompany compliance officials on inspections and visits

·               Manage New Employee Orientation          Company Policies/Procedures           OSHA training

·               Assist in all Property, Casualty and Liability Insurance Policies: Auto Insurance / General Liability / Property / Inland Marine / Electronic Data Processing / Boat Dealer's / Bumbershoot (Marine Excess Liability) / Transit / Storage Tank Liability / Flood

·               Submit all claims after review with management

·               Review policies at least once per quarter

·               Analyze any change in operations that requires a change in coverage and/or policy

·               Assist Workman's Compensation Program

·               Ensure injury reports are submitted to Department of Labor and Insurance Carrier

·               Claims Review Session(s) with adjuster to update injured status and close open claims on time

·               Generate Injury/Work Comp statistical reports         Ensure Environmental Compliance with three (3)Government agencies.Local - Environmental Protection Commission of Hillsborough County State - Florida Department of Environmental Protection Federal - Environmental Protection Commission Ensure all reporting requirements are submitted properly and on time write all official responses to any of three (3) agencies Assist/Support Employee Relations Manager & Human Resource Dept when asked
