Executive Assistant - Provider Relations & Credentialing
One Call Medical, Inc. (OCM) is the premier payor outsourcing organization servicing the Workers' Compensation industry, providing the highest quality scheduling service through its national network providers.
We are seeking a highly motivated Executive Assistant to assist the Director of Provider Relations & Credentialing in performing various administrative and analytical duties.
Description:
§ Run reports for physicians and facilities due for credentialing/re-credentailing. Run mail merge to create pre-populated applications and customized letters. Facilitate envelope stuffing. Update database with mailing status.
§ Distribute all mail and faxes to Credentialing Team. Update database with received date, etc.
§ Develop and maintain process for reviewing samples films. Build query for identifying facilities that require review. Create letters for requesting films and notifying outcomes. Set up process to prepare films for Medical Director. Once review is completed, coordinate with appropriate Development Staff with outcome of review.
§ Provide back up to bill sort process.
§ Physician/Facility clean ups in database. Enter and maintain database with all pertinent provider information. Responsible for maintaining the integrity of the company’s provider database.
§ Filing/Scanning
§ Handle telephone calls and faxed inquiries received each day
§ Maintain technical skills and status as “the expert” on Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, and Access) and functionality. Find ways to maximize use of software tools to improve process efficiencies.
§ Provide backup for Credentialing Database Specialist’s for Bill Sort responsibility.
§ Create letters for providers, where applicable
§ Perform related duties and special projects as assigned.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and at least three (3) to five (5) years of office experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must be computer literate with full knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel and have ability to learn new systems and software.
