Reviews endorsements on existing policies to identify any change in coverage. • Evaluates, accepts, rejects, or modifies risks with established Underwriting guidelines and authority. • Visits producers and promotes ACE USA coverages, products and services. Maintains liaison with producers to promote high customer satisfaction and encourage submission of targeted business. • Visits account to understand/learn the exposures involved. • Handle all phases of agency management within assigned territory. • Performs other duties as required to best serve customer and team needs. QUALIFICATIONS SUMMARY: Minimum:Bachelors Degree • High level of Professional Liability E&O underwriting skills and competence, with the ability to handle large complex risks – minimum of two - three years U/W E&O experience with heavy MPL, Technology and Media focus. • Demonstrated initiative as evidenced by ability to self-manage, organize, and prioritize work, with minimal direction from manager. • Ability to develop and manage a marketing plan. • Excellent Interpersonal Skills: Ability to establish trust and effective working relationships with others- both external customers and co-workers. • Strong Communications Skills, including the ability to listen effectively; to confidently and diplomatically express opinions an voice concerns with other team members; and to present effective written communication to varied audiences . • Strong training capabilities. • Computer skills with Microsoft products.ACE Limited (NYSE: ACE), the Bermuda-based holding company of the ACE Group of Companies, is one of the worlds leading insurance and reinsurance organizations, with 2006 gross premiums written of $17.4 billion and net premiums written of $12.0 billion.
