Transamerica Life Insurance Company, an AEGON company, is a leader in the worldwide insurance industry for over 40 years. AEGON is an international pension, insurance and financial services organization. Transamerica is located in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, where approximately 3200 individuals are employed.
This position will be located in the Transamerica Capital Markets (TCM) division. TCM is one of the nations leading providers of annuity and life insurance products to banks, wirehouses, broker/dealers, and institutional clients. In Cedar Rapids, TCM primarily manufactures, administers, and services annuity products issued by several AEGON USA operating companies.
There is currently one opening in this department. The candidate will be hired as a Financial Analyst II or a Senior Financial Analyst based upon qualifications, skills, and organizational needs.
Responsibilities:
· Develops financial reports/models for forecasting, trending and results analysis.
· Analyzes financial data and extracts and defines relevant information; interprets data for the purpose of determining past financial performance and/or to project a financial result
· Interprets financial transactions and events for users and may offer recommendations to those who make economic or business decisions.
· Identifies, participates and contributes ideas for the success in relation to assigned work, projects or other process enhancements.
· Understands the flow of information, financial systems, appropriate reporting tools and uses that knowledge to troubleshoot problems.
· Works effectively with other departments/divisions to ensure business issues are resolved for the success of the company.
Qualifications for #6804
· Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
· Generally at least three years of experience, with degree.
· Working knowledge of financial area preferred (for example, investments, premium)
The salary range for this position is $39,000.00-$52,000.00-$64,000.00.

Qualifications for #6805
· Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
· Degree in Finance or Accounting preferred. MBA preferred.
· Generally at least 3-5 years previous experience, with degree.
The salary range for this position is $49,000.00-$66,000.00-$82,000.00.
