Facilities Technician II

If you would like to apply your skills and experience to create health-care solutions, consider the following position: Job Summary: Perform facility maintenance services such as performing drywall repairs, painting touch-up and complete paint jobs. Completing facility work orders, and facility checks in association with goals set by the Facilities Team Lead. Assist in a preventive maintenance program for the facility. An experienced Facility technician, reporting to the Facility Team Lead Project Management II. Responsibilities: 1. Perform drywall, mud, and tape repairs, completion of work orders as required. 2. Perform paint touch-up and complete paint prep and paint jobs. 3. Perform minor carpentry as needed to maintain the facility. 4. Write descriptive facility reports and report on work in progress assist in the determination and follow-through of program initiatives. 5. Assist in maintaining building maintenance as required. 6. Maintain adequate safety precautions, especially when working with wiring, chemicals, or power tools. 7. Perform other duties or special assignments as required, including such tasks as moving office walls, and painting offices for office moves in a short period of time. 8. Ability to document and maintain records on building changes as they relate to electrical, HVAC, Plumbing, cube counts, footprint changes. 9. Working knowledge of A.D.A. requirements 10. Ability to cross train, to assist in mechanical maintenance of HVAC, refrigeration equipment, and kitchen equipment. Minimum Qualifications: 1. High school education or equivalent. 2. 5 years experience specific to facility repair work in office building maintenance and ability to maintain schedules. 3. Ability to lift up to 70 pounds 4. 2 years inventory experience relating to required supplies. 5. Mechanical aptitude, Construction demolition and clean up; Light plumbing and electrical experience. 6. Previous experience in working directly with internal contacts to resolve problematic issues 7. Ability to learn, retain and apply a vast amount of information quickly in a changing environment, along with demonstrated flexibility and resiliency in a fast paced environment. 8. Ethical, professional business behavior 9. Ability to work independently and as an effective member of a team Additional Qualifications Preferred: 1. Ability to maintain schedules. 2.
