As a Financial Advisor for USAA, you will have one of the most important roles in the company. You will spend approximately 90% of your day handling in bound phone calls from our current members. You will advise them on an array of financial issues, retirement planning, college funding, asset allocation, insurance planning and debt management. You will recommend appropriate financial planning products and develop financial strategies based on member's goals and individual needs. USAA advantages include: No cold calling. Base salaries plus bonuses leading to greater stability than commission driven compensation plans. Qualified candidates need to possess: Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience. The following licenses: NASD Series 7, 63 and 65. Ability to acquire insurance license, designation and/or securities registration to include Group 1 and Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor (CRPC). 3 years of customer contact experience. 1 year of financial services experience (to include life, investments or financial planning). Ability to work well independently and in a team environment. Ability to listen, understand and confidently influence others to a positive outcome. Ability to work extended hours. Ability to enjoy working in a fast paced work environment dedicated to serving USAA's members Preferred Qualifications: Licenses, professional designations or progress towards professional designations (CFP, ChFC, CLU, CFA).. Ability to acquire insurance license, designation, and or/securities registration, to include Group 1 and Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor (CRPC) within the required time frame.
