Please read on for the full job description and to complete your online application.20% Direct the development and maintenance of the financial planning process, including analysis and interpretation of operating results and trends requiring managements attention. 20% Prepare financial and operating reports to make recommendations and provide a basis for senior management planning, operating controls, and performance appraisal.20% Analyze, review and evaluate actual performance to planned results and summarize critical information and recommendations in an actionable form. 10% Assist in monitoring strategic and operating results. Recommend and assist the AVP in the implementation of actions designed to prevent deviations from the strategic plan.10% Consult with the operating units and field personnel on financial analysis and how operational activities can impact results. Act as liaison between QBE Regional Insurance and QBE Americas financial departments.10% Select, develop, motivate, train and retain a competent staff to ensure appropriate staffing resources.5% Assist in developing and maintaining financial data warehouse. Act as data process owner/documenter. 5% Improve processes within the Company to increase the level and quality of service provided to internal and external customers.Qualifications:Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent, and continued education related to the job.* 7 or more years of experience in financial planning and analysis in a Property/Casualty Insurance environment. * Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation.
