Financial Analyst

We are actively seeking a Financial Analyst with budgeting and forecasting experience coupled with above average computer systems skills (Excel, Access and MS Query skills). Responsibilities of the position include review and analysis of monthly financial statements, variance analysis, budget reforecasting, annual budget preparation and process improvements including automating manual functions. Performance measurement, acquisition analysis, and modeling of various data for Management Reporting are integral elements of this position. Requirements: - Previous experience in an insurance agency or company environment is preferred. - Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting - 5+ years of relevant experience preferably within the technology industry. - Excellent interpersonal skills; must be able to interact effectively with all levels of the organization. - Well organized, detail oriented, team player with the ability to function independently required. - Strong computer aptitude and ability to work with a variety of software applications; Excel, Access and MS Query are required. Experience with software packages to import and export data such as Crystal report writer and SQL. - Knowledge of Agency Management Systems (AMS) and the AMS Database is preferred.
