Financial Application Support Specialist Portland, ORBring your software application experience to the following role: Work with various business customers to understand, document and test business and technical solutions to improve business efficiency and productivity Provide support to the business community by maintaining and enhancing systems through collaborating with Regence Information Technology (RITS) division, as needed Research and analyze system issues, develop and communicate technical solutions, and document system configuration changes Enforce system configuration change control and work closely with the Business Systems Analysts, RITS and the business contacts to test and implement solutions Combine your degree and experience in software applications with the following skills: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Information Systems, Accounting, Business Administration or related field Minimum of 2 years software application support experience Bachelor's degree and support experience may be substituted by equivalent combination of education and job-related experience in a related field Computer proficiency with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access and Visio Familiarity with finance applications; end-user of AP, Cost Accounting, Purchasing, Expenses, or other Finance modules is preferred Knowledge of database structures and software security set up Superior problem solving skills and a unique combination of customer service, communication and technical abilities Excellent written and verbal communication skills Positive phone presence and unwavering commitment to customer service are essential Technical aptitude together with the ability to learn quickly and manage multiple priorities Attention to detail, administration and demonstrated organizational skills is required Ability to make determinations quickly and work well under pressure Highly enthusiastic, positive minded and service oriented Ability to adapt to change and work effectively in a dynamic work environment Capability to work non standard hours as needed Hard work and dedication is rewarded at Regence: We offer a competitive salary and a generous benefits package.For consideration, please visit our Web site at www.regence.com/careers and Apply Online to Job #16382.We are an equal opportunity employer dedicated to workforce diversity and a drug and smoke-free workplace.
