Financial Reporting Manager or Sr. Analyst (Fortune 100 Co.)

We are recruiting for solid and growing Fortune 100 company. The company is seeking a Financial Reporting Manager or Senior Analyst, depending on experience.  The ideal candidate will have experience in public accounting or at an SEC company, with solid financial reporting experience.  The company offers solid long-term career growth opportunities and provides outstanding compensation and benefits, including 100% paid MBA.


Responsibilities include (specifics depend on Senior or Manager level):

·Manage or assist with corporate accounting activities and related and variance/financial analysis

·Manage or assist in the preparation of various internal and external (SEC) financial reports and statements, including related footnote disclosures

·Supervise or assist with the research of GAAP and financial reporting transactions and issues.  Identify and assist in the implementation of process improvement initiatives

·Manage or assist with monthly and quarterly financial reporting and the preparation of key financial metrics.  Perform special accounting projects and respond to ad-hoc requests from executive management

REQUIREMENTS:

·Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, CPA or MBA (or desire to pursue one of both) a plus

·2-12 years of experience; ideally with a public accounting firm or a Fortune 500 company

·Self-motivated with a strong desire to succeed

·Solid GAAP accounting and financial reporting knowledge base (SEC reporting experience a plus)

·Potential to progress to executive management positions
