Financial Systems Specialist

Do you have a passion for financial systems analysis and a history of success in your field?  As a Financial Systems Specialist, you will directly impact the Finance Division and be a key player in VSP’s continued success.

 

This opportunity will provide you the ability to collaborate with business users and IT to develop and implement changes and redesign of business processes in conjunction with the implementation of our new financial system.  You will apply your skills in reviewing business process and systems, apply quality techniques, analyze and prepare deliverables, and communicate and coordinate control solutions across departments impacted by the financial system.

 

The ideal candidate will have 3 years experience related to implementation and analysis of business systems, demonstrated experience in supporting finance disciplines (GL, AP, AR, SOX etc), a high degree of knowledge and experience with a major ERP system (SAP, Oracle, or Lawson), working knowledge of TQM or Six Sigma Lean, Bachelors degree in Accounting, Business or related field, or equivalent experience, demonstrated experience in leading process/quality design, and excellent verbal and written communication skills.  If this describes your skill set, we would like to meet you!
