Brokerage Concepts, Inc. a growing company in the health insurance industry has been in business for over 30 years, part of the HealthNow Corporation with over 2000 employees has an opportunity available for a Fully-Insured Underwriter to work at our King of Prussia, PA location.
The Fully-Insured Underwriter is responsible for day to day Underwriting and Rating activities including preparing cases for quote, running fully-insured quotes in-house, preparing request for quotes for outside carriers; analysis and spread-sheeting of quotes; vendor negotiation and data analysis; preparation and completion of fully insured proposals; follow-up procedures on fully-insured prospects and renewals to ensure that deadlines are being met; completion of sold case summaries and vendor applications.
Candidate must have strong analytic, communication, follow-up and computer skills. Attention to detail, ability to meet constant deadlines and strategic mind is a must. College degree preferably in math, insurance or other business field required. We offer an excellent compensation package, which includes a 401(k) plan, paid holidays and tuition reimbursement.
