Group Benefits CSR:

 

Conner Benefits has a strong and growing group benefits department specializing in providing group health and voluntary products to employers with 50-500 employees. We provide a superior level of service and knowledge to our clients compared to our competition.  We work in a highly team centric atmosphere and have unique products and services to provide to our clients.   Clients work with multiple individuals within the agency across various lines of business. Conner Benefits is a division of the Conner Insurance Agency which has been doing business in Indianapolis, IN since 1949.

 

 

Job Description:


The Group Benefits CSR will work with the Account Manager in servicing the benefits for multiple employers.  Servicing includes: negotiation with insurance companies, handling client changes, scheduling, and implementing enrollments.  The CSR must be a highly motivated individual and will be required to perform tasks relating to group benefits in a swift paced team-centric environment. 

 

Position Requirements:

 

 

Benefits Experience:

  Position requires an individual with 5+ years of benefits experience. 

  This individual must be comfortable with developing executive level relationships with various individuals within employer clients.  Strong interpersonal and servant leader skills will be required to work with other team leaders.  Significant working knowledge of products is a must for this position.

 

Sell and manage group health coverage and enrollments:

  Individual must work with Prospecting and Renewal teams to quote and enroll new and existing groups.  Individual must contribute continuous improvement in the areas of proposals, communication, marketing, and quotation comparisons to the team.  All details relating to roll-outs and enrollments would be handled by this individual.

 

Cross-sell:

  Individual must thrive on rounding out accounts with cost-effective and innovative voluntary products that incrementally add revenue to accounts.  Continual self-education and a strong interest in industry trends are required for placement in this position.

 

Service Accounts:

  With assistance from team, individual would be responsible for all details relating to servicing through-out the year.  Including by not limited to:  making additions and deletions, answering questions from client, working with carriers, working through claim issues, acute monitoring of client status.

  Individual must also produce and implement a proactive service plan for all group clients.
